THE DICHOTOMIZED GOD - Intro 2

Gambar
INTRO -  2 JESUS: THE MODEL OF A RESTORED MIND - REVERSING ADAM'S LEGACY Christ as the New Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45) Jesus came not only to redeem human sin but to restore the human thought pattern that had been distorted since the fall. In Him, we see: 1. A Whole Relationship with the Father    - "I can do nothing by myself... I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me" (John 5:19,30)    - Contrast with Adam:      - Adam chose independence ("you will be like God" - Gen 3:5)      - Christ chose total dependence 2. Obedience that Flows Naturally    - His obedience was not a burden, but an expression of love (John 14:31)    - Analogy: Like a child who gladly obeys a beloved parent The Mechanism of Restoration Offered by Jesus A. Sanctifying Grace B. A Restored Mindset 1. Mindset of Connectedness    - "I am in the Father and the Father is in m...

3. DIKOTOMI : AKAR DISTORSI PIKIRAN MANUSIA

1. DOSA ASAL ADAM: AKAR DISTORSI PIKIRAN MANUSIA   (Kejadian 3:1-7 – Analisis Eksistensial)    Bukan Sekadar Pelanggaran, Tetapi Revolusi Kesadaran   Peristiwa kejatuhan di Eden bukan sekadar pelanggaran aturan (memakan buah terlarang), melainkan perombakan total cara manusia memandang realitas. Dua Distorsi Ut...

THE DICHOTOMIZED GOD - Intro 1 Read Previous Section (Intro) 1. THE ORIGINAL SIN: THE ROOT OF HUMAN THOUGHT DISTORTION (Genesis 3:1-7 – Existential Analysis) Not Just a Violation, But a Revolution of Consciousness The event of the Fall in Eden was not merely a violation of a rule (eating the forbidden fruit), but a total overhaul of how humanity perceives reality. Like a virus infecting an operating system, sin corrupts: 1. The Way of Viewing God:    Before Sin: God was understood as a good Father (Genesis 2:16-17 – a loving warning).    After Sin: God was seen as a frightening Overseer (Genesis 3:10 – "I was afraid because I was naked"). 2. The Way of Viewing Self:    Before: Humans were aware of being the glorious image of God (Genesis 1:27).    After: Humans felt lacking and ashamed (Genesis 3:7 – covering themselves with fig leaves). Two Main Distortions After the Fall 1. From Relationship to Transaction    ...

INTRODUCTION: RESTORING THE ADAMIC MINDSET - THE BRIDGE BETWEEN GRACE AND OBEDIENCE Read Previous Section (Preface) The Divisive Dichotomy Since the fall of humanity in the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), a fundamental distortion has occurred in how we perceive God. Sin not only damaged our vertical relationship with God but also scrambled our understanding of the two main pillars of spiritual life: 1.  Grace (God's unconditional favor) 2.  Law (God's standard of holiness) As a result of this distortion, the body of Christ has been split into two extreme camps: The Grace Camp (Relational): -   Focus: "God is love" (1 John 4:8) -   Risks:     -   Neglecting God's holiness (1 Peter 1:16)     -   Antinomianism (considering the Law irrelevant)     -   Example: Churches that refuse to teach repentance The Law Camp (Legalism): -   Focus: "Be holy, because I am holy" (Leviticus 11:44) - ...
